Community Involvement

LDC, Inc.’s Spring Rampathon 2017

Since 1993, Master Builders Association members and community volunteers have come together annually to build accessibility ramps at homes around King and Snohomish Counties at no cost to the recipients. With generous help from sponsor Dunn Lumber, this year’s Rampathon event provided 43 ramps in total, from Burien to Lake Stevens and just about everywhere in between.

This is the second year LDC Inc. has participated in Rampathon. With even more volunteers than last year, we were able to build two ramps simultaneously for two sites in Snohomish County.  LDC Inc. provided the design and construction, and materials were donated by Dunn Lumber. At no cost to the recipients, these ramps improve accessibility and quality of life while providing peace of mind that there is a safe, accessible means to enter and exit.

At LDC Inc., supporting the communities in which we work is an important value.  These types of events ensure that we are making a difference in our world and also provide great opportunities to grow together as a team and have some fun!
