The LDC, Inc. Approach

LDC combines the latest in surveying technology with an “old school,” service-first approach. Our personal service and attention to detail separate us from other surveying/engineering companies. Our projects include subdivision/plat work, Telecom surveys, mapping and topographic surveys, and public works projects. Our crews operate with Leica robotic total stations (with scanning capability) implementing Captivate/Viva software and Leica GPS units. We also operate with Leica Exchange which enables us to share data back-and-forth with our field crews in real-time. Our crews are experienced and capable of reacting to your changing needs in the field.

As a contractor, we don’t always have a choice in which survey or engineering firm we work with on projects. However, with LDC, Inc. as a part of the project team, we can expect thorough engineering and consistent surveying, which helps make for a successful project.

LDC's Survey Department provides construction staking services for the land development projects which our Planning and Civil Departments plan and design. We have over 50 years of combined field experience in this area and we pride ourselves on rapid response time to our clients' survey requests.

LDC has performed many public works surveying projects, including survey layout for large scale sanitary sewer outfall infrastructure projects for the City of Seattle to smaller sidewalk improvements projects.
