During the month of July, LDC, Inc. held an employee donation drive and provided 523 items and a monetary donation to the Northshore School Foundation for fall 2019 students. The Northshore School Foundation recognizes that some children may have difficulty acquiring the essential tools and supplies they need for the school year, so in 1999, they established a program called Backpacks for Kids to accept donations of school supplies and backpacks. For the past 20 years, Backpacks for Kids has helped over a thousand youth in the local community prepare to start the year with everything they need.
LDC, Inc., appreciates helping others within our community, especially when it comes to education for our youth. With the right supplies, our children can focus less on scarcity of resources and focus more on learning opportunities. LDC, Inc. is proud to be able to participate in this initiative to help the children in our community start their school year off strong.
