Not only does Ed Anderson bring over 35 years of experience to his role as LDC’s Principal Surveyor, his work spans a broad spectrum of projects. Anderson enjoys a challenge and has achieved success whether in leading survey teams in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division, aligning hydro tunnels, laying-out bridges, erecting large buildings, or building his own land use firm over 20 years.
Beyond his extensive surveying credentials, Anderson adds layers of value to the survey team through passionately implementing effective solutions to recognize inefficiencies, outside-the-box thinking with regard to strategic business planning or preparing and retaining employees through thoughtful training, empowerment, and mentoring. His objective: To create opportunities to improve the business, himself, and those around him – all of which makes him an invaluable member of the LDC, Inc. team.
What drew me to LDC was the culture. This is a very high-performing group of people, always performing as a team. My proudest accomplishments are the relationships that I’ve built. We often overlook the importance of the relationship between the survey crew and the project superintendent. I believe team members perform best just outside their comfort zones. This is where growth happens.
