Ross Jarvis
Principal Civil Engineer
Ross Jarvis begins every day driven by passion for excellence, quality, customer service and meeting and exceeding project goals. Ross is a Principal Engineer and part of the leadership team in LDC’s Olympia office. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming and has 20-plus years in civil engineering, not to mention several years of construction experience, beginning in his teens with a concrete crew. This background, combined with a proactive communication style, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, allows him to expertly shepherd clients through design, permitting and construction-related challenges in a smooth fashion.
His great depth of knowledge in municipal codes, permit processes, site design and layout, utility design and hydrology enable accurate counsel to clients, consultants, and contractors. Ross’s background spans a wide range of projects, including K-12 and higher education campuses; projects with the State Department of Enterprise Services; tribal facilities; healthcare; multi-family developments; and commercial buildings.
Ross genuinely enjoys the creative process of his profession and problem solving for the daily betterment of his community and is committed to establishing LDC’s Olympia office as the premier civil engineering firm in Thurston County.
