Marketing Manager

LDC is seeking a Marketing Manager that will lead project specific business development proposals, formulate internal presentation content, enhance the LDC, Inc. brand and organize company wide marketing efforts. This individual will also produce other promotional materials for corporate, private and public agency clients.  Strategic leadership is necessary to track business opportunities and preposition LDC, Inc. for success. The Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with management and project managers to produce high quality business development and marketing materials.

What You Get to Do

  • Lead business development proposal efforts including SOQ's and RFP's for public projects
  • Manage marketing team
  • Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
  • Apply and revise corporate designs, logos, layouts, and branding
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications
  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
  • Edits promotional material prior to distributions
  • Analyzes company’s social media and online presence and makes recommendations
  • Manages company blog or website
  • Research media coverage and industry trends
  • Manage all marketing information
  • Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and assist with managing expenses to that budget
  • Create company literature and other forms of communication.
  • Manage meeting coordination/agenda/materials
  • Coordination on yearly Strategy sessions. Assistance with brainstorming event ideas, preparing agenda, preparing materials
  • Preparing summary reports of strategy sessions for manager retreat.
  • Manage retreat materials to assist with work plan development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations or related subject
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a visual or graphics communications role
  • Exemplary A/E/C industry marketing skills, such as project specific proposals; interview presentations and marketplace branding
  • Strong understanding of company identity, mission, and goals
  • Able to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels of the organization, including customers, vendors, and other associations
  • Exemplary customer service skills, including ability to create positive first impressions and develop partnerships internally and with external clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, including strong attention to detail
  • Able to work on multiple projects and effectively manage changing priorities
  • Advanced skills in publishing programs like Adobe and InDesign
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
