LDC is assisting the City of Bonney Lake with its 2024 Comprehensive Plan update. LDC’s work on the project includes preparing the Commerce Periodic Update Checklist and conducting a policy gap analysis relative to state law and regional policy changes. We are preparing the land capacity analysis, GIS maps, and working with the city team on updating plan elements including the Capital Facilities Plan (CFP). This project also includes preparation of a Supplemental EIS and assisting with project visioning and community engagement.

Going Above the Standard

Our team worked with the City of Bonney Lake on the development of the Housing Action Plan in 2021 and implementation of plan elements in 2022. Our experience and background has proven to be valuable to the city as it plans for growth out to 2044. Bonney Lake is an amazing community. Our goal is to bring creative ideas that help ensure the city can accommodate future growth that aligns with the character of the community.
