House Bill 1923

Signing of HB 1923
Project Date
May 2019

LDC's Planning department was proud to provide assistance on House Bill 1923, which is designed to provide local governments options and opportunities to increase urban residential building capacity. LDC advocated for local government funding to implement the optional elements of the Bill. Over five million dollars has been appropriated by the legislature. This is significant because local government often has few resources to tackle projects, such as those identified in HB 1923. It was great to work on a Bill that can help solve our housing issues and help local governments with the needed resources to complete the job.
