LDC is assisting Kitsap County with its 2024 Comprehensive Plan update. LDC’s work on the project includes preparing the project charter and conducting a policy gap analysis relative to state law and regional policy changes. We are assisting with the land capacity analysis, leading the development of the Capital Facilities Plan (CFP), and assisting with policy development for the Housing and Land Use Elements. In addition, LDC is assisting with review of citizen-initiated docket proposals and preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the update.

Going Above the Standard

LDC has significant experience working with counties. This includes working on comprehensive plans and navigating projects that are complex in nature. We are working as an extension of the county team to help ensure the project is completed on time and that it provides a great framework and vision for the county as it grows over the next 20 years.
