Grocery chains are looking to attract the EV customer by providing locations for them to charge their vehicles while they shop. The EV stations are even including visual displays with customized content to engage the consumer as they charge. As part of the team that partnered with Safeway to bring charging station solutions to their stores throughout Washington, LDC was the design engineer and provided initial design, permitting, power installation and construction management for a number of these hosts throughout the Pacific Northwest.
