Ground-up building design services are provided by LDC for one- and two-story commercial structures framed with steel, masonry, timber, concrete, and cold-formed steel. These services include full building design drawings and calculations prepared by a licensed professional engineer sufficient for permit submittal.
LDC provides structural design services for site structures including storm water detention vaults and retaining walls. Detention vaults and retaining walls typically consist of cast-in-place, reinforced concrete. Structural drawings and calculations are prepared by a licensed professional engineer.
LDC provides structural services to architects and owners for renovations and tenant improvement projects which include bearing wall removals and additions, opening infill and additions, floor removals and infills, stair and elevator additions, and canopy additions. Design documents provided also include construction sequencing and reinforcement as required.
LDC provides cold-formed steel design services, including shop drawing preparation. Cold-formed steel design services that LDC provides may consist of curtainwall framing, load-bearing wall studs, roof and floor joists, soffits and canopies, shear walls, and openings. Shop drawings consist of stud size, gauge, spacing, connections, and include signed and sealed calculations.
LDC’s structural services in the telecommunications industry include structural analyses of mounts, towers, water tanks, and buildings for the overall adequacy of proposed site modifications to the mounts and structure as a whole. Structural drawings and calculations that are provided are signed and stamped by a licensed structural engineer.
The construction administration services that LDC provides include reviewing shop drawings and submittals in addition to aiding contractors with interpreting drawings, answering field questions, and responding to Requests for Information.
